Vanishing Perspective

For our photo essay we were asked to produce 15-30 photo images and build a montage from the final photos. I wanted to base my images on vanishing points and the way the image disappears in the centre of the image. Perspective: ‘the way that objects appear smaller when they are further away and the way parallel lines appear to meet each other at a point in the distance’ (Cambridge University Press, 2010 accessed November 28th 2010).  I also found some websites that related to my project:


 





I started looking around the city of hull for short ally ways and long streets with narrow paths.












 

 



                                                                                





















                                                 
Using some of the images , I played around in Adobe Photoshop to make a eye catching montage with multiple vanishing points and a range of different perspective points.
